Assembly and quality control tests of the 3D sensor modules for the innermost layer of the ATLAS ITk pixel detector / Kakoty, Niraj (Barcelona, IFAE) /ATLAS ITK Collaboration
The High Luminosity upgrade of the Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC) will push the ATLAS detector to handle an increased luminosity of 7.5 × 1034 cm2 s1 and up to 200 proton-proton collisions per bunch crossing. To meet this challenge, the current ATLAS Inner Detector will be replaced with the new silicon-based Inner Tracker (ITk), consisting of a Pixel detector at a small radius and a surrounding Strip detector. The ITk Pixel detector uses hybrid pixel sensors bump-bonded to ITkPix readout chips (65 nm CMOS). Collectivity in large and small collision systems / Tripathy, Sushanta (CERN)
Collisions of heavy ions at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) recreate conditions emerged during the fraction of a second after the Big-Bang. The produced medium is often referred to quark-gluon plasma (QGP). [...]

Convergence of the ppp correlation function within the hyperspherical adiabatic basis / Garrido, E (Madrid, Inst. Estructura Materia) ; Kievsky, A (INFN, Pisa) ; Del Grande, R (Prague, Tech. U.) ; Serksnyte, L (CERN) ; Viviani, M (INFN, Pisa) ; Marcucci, L E (INFN, Pisa ; Pisa U.)
The computation of the three-particle correlation function involving three hadrons started just recently after the first publications of ALICE measurements. Key elements to be considered are the correct description of the asymptotics, antisymmetrization issues and, in most cases, the treatment of the Coulomb interaction. [...]

Recent developments in open heavy-flavour physics: ALICE highlights / Sadhu, Samrangy (Bonn U.) /ALICE Collaboration
Recent progress in open heavy-flavour physics has enhanced our understanding of charm and beauty quark behaviour in the hot and dense medium created in ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions. The ALICE experiment at the LHC has played a leading role, delivering precision measurements that probe the Quark–Gluon plasma (QGP). [...]

A hadronic calorimeter based on resistive micropattern gaseous detectors / Generoso, Lisa (INFN, Bari) ; Alviggi, Maria Grazia (INFN, Naples) ; Bianco, Michele (CERN) ; Borysova, Maryna (Weizmann Inst.) ; Biglietti, Michela (Rome III U.) ; Buonsante, Marco (INFN, Bari) ; Camerlingo, Maria Teresa (INFN, Bari) ; Colaleo, Anna (INFN, Bari) ; Della Pietra, Massimo (INFN, Naples) ; Di Nardo, Roberto (Rome III U.) et al.
Experiments at future Higgs factories will require excellent energy resolution to discriminate hadronic decays of W/Z and H bosons effectively. To meet this target, calorimeters must feature fine-granularity readouts, essential for implementing the Particle Flow Algorithm (PFA). [...]

Empowering a broad and diverse community in beam dynamics simulations with Xsuite / Łopaciuk, Szymon (CERN) ; De Maria, Riccardo (CERN) ; Iadarola, Giovanni (CERN) ; Van der Veken, Frederik Florentinus (CERN)
Xsuite is a Python toolkit for modelling and simulation of particle accelerators, which has been developed at CERN together with collaborators from other institutes over the past four years. The code has reached a mature development stage and has become the workhorse for several studies and applications, allowing the gradual replacement of legacy tools like Sixtrack, COMBI, PyHEADTAIL. The vertexing challenge at FCC-ee / Ilg, Armin (U. Zurich (main)) ; Macchiolo, Anna (U. Zurich (main)) ; Palla, Fabrizio (INFN, Pisa) /FCC Collaboration
Following in the footsteps of the LHC, the Future Circular Collider (FCC) plans to be the next multi-generational collider project. In the first stage, FCC-ee will collide intense beams of electrons and positrons at centre of mass energies between 88 and 365 GeV, making it an electroweak, flavour, Higgs and top factory. [...]

Cagliari (main) ; INFN, Cagliari) ; Boike, J (Unlisted, DE ; Humboldt U., Berlin (main)) et al.
During the series of intense solar flares and coronal mass ejections, that occurred in May 2024, a remarkable Forbush decrease in the cosmic ray flux was observed on the Earth. While this event was observed by particle detectors around the world, the archipelago of Svalbard was heavily exposed to it due to the weak geomagnetic shielding in the polar region. [...]

Transverse beam jitter damping along the Future Circular Collider e+e− injector linacs / Bettoni, S (PSI, Villigen) ; Latina, A (CERN) ; Grudiev, A (CERN)
Transverse stabilization of the beam is crucial for optimizing the performance of a particle accelerator, regardless of its application. The most common method for minimizing transverse beam jitter is the Balakin-Novokhatsky-Smirnov (BNS) damping technique. [...]
