ABOUT PREPRINTS
The Preprints collection aims to cover as far as possible all the grey literature in particle physics and its related technologies. The collection contains something like 400,000 documents, out of which about 50% can be accessed electronically. The documents originate from a variety of institutes all over the world. The collection, currently available, starts in 1979 and it has a full coverage of the arXiv.org e-Print archive since its beginning in 1991.

Combination of aN$^3$LO PDFs and implications for Higgs production cross-sections at the LHC / MSHT Collaboration
We discuss how the two existing approximate N$^3$LO (aN$^3$LO) sets of parton distributions (PDFs) from the MSHT20 and NNPDF4.0 series can be combined for LHC phenomenology, both in the pure QCD case and for the QCD$\otimes$QED sets that include the photon PDF. [...]

Searches for heavy neutral leptons with machine learning at the CMS experiment / Knolle, Joscha (Gent U.) /CMS Collaboration
Two recent searches for heavy neutral leptons (HNLs) performed with proton-proton collision data recorded at 13 TeV by the CMS experiment are presented. A prompt search in the trilepton final state analyses events with exactly three charged leptons originating from the primary proton-proton interaction vertex, targeting HNL masses between 10 GeV and 1.5 TeV. Radiation and magnetic field qualification of LVPS - a unified 12V DC power source for the CMS detector. / Stachon, Krzysztof (Zurich, ETH) ; Dissertori, Gunther (Zurich, ETH) ; Gadek, Tomasz (Zurich, ETH) ; Lustermann, Werner (Zurich, ETH) /CMS Collaboration
Efforts aiming at consolidating the powering for the CMS detector have led to the development of a Low Voltage Power Supply (LVPS). The LVPS converts 380 V DC to 12 V DC, suitable for powering the widely used bPOL12V point-of-load DC-DC converter. [...]

Data transmission performance and characterization of TEPX disks of the CMS Phase-2 Inner Tracker / Bilandzija, Filip (Zurich U.)
Before starting the High-Luminosity LHC phase, the CMS detector will be substantially upgraded to cope with the significant increase in instantaneous and integrated luminosity. The entire CMS tracking detector will be replaced, and the new detector will feature increased radiation hardness, higher granularity, and the capability to handle higher data rates and longer trigger latency. Measurements of the t$\Bar{\text{t}}$H+tH production at CMS / Marchegiani, Matteo (Zurich, ETH) /CMS Collaboration
Following the observation of the Higgs boson at the LHC, the high precision measurements of its properties and the search for its production in various final states have become crucial to test the validity of the standard model. The production of the Higgs boson in association with a top quark and antiquark pair (t$\Bar{\text{t}}$H) is a direct probe of the interaction between the boson and the top quark, providing access to the top-Higgs Yukawa coupling. On the other hand, the production of the Higgs boson in association with a single top quark (tH) is sensitive to the sign of this coupling. The importance of a precise measurement of the top Yukawa coupling stems from its dominant role in the stability of the electroweak vacuum. The latest measurements of the t$\Bar{\text{t}}$H and tH production cross section performed by the CMS collaboration with proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=$~13 TeV in final states with a Higgs boson decaying to a pair of photons, multiple charged leptons or a bottom quark and antiquark pair are presented..

HNLs at CMS / Lunerti, Leonardo (INFN, Bologna) /CMS Collaboration
The discovery of neutrino oscillations suggests non-zero masses for active neutrinos, which may result from the presence of massive sterile neutrinos, or heavy neutral leptons (HNLs). The most recent searches for HNLs at the CMS experiment are presented. [...]
