Recent CP violation and lifetime results from CMS / Sergeychik, Vladimir (Moscow, MIPT) /CMS Collaboration
Recent results on CP violation in charm and beauty sector, as well as lifetime measurements, by the CMS experiment at the LHC are presented. The first measurement of CP violation in charm by CMS is reported, as well as the most precise measurement of effective lifetime $\tau(B^{0}_{s} \to J/\psi K^{0}_{S})$ and the first evidence for CP violation in the $B^{0}_{s} \to J/\psi \phi (1020) \to \mu^{+} \mu^{-} K^{+} K^{-}$ decay. Heavy flavour spectroscopy and properties at CMS / Ivanov, Kirill (Moscow, MIPT) /CMS Collaboration
Recent CMS Experiment results on conventional spectroscopy and production of heavy flavour states in pp collisions at 13 TeV are reported, including the first observation of the $\Xi_b^- \to \psi(2S) \Xi^-$ decay. We discuss the measured properties of the ground and excited hadron states..

Search for rare Higgs-boson decays and production modes at CMS / Covarelli, Roberto (INFN, Turin ; Turin U.) /CMS Collaboration
With the full Run2 data set of the LHC at $\sqrt{s}=$ 13 TeV it is possible to search for subdominant production modes of the Higgs boson at a pp collider, like associate production of the Higgs boson with two b-quarks, with a single top quark, or with a photon, profiting of high-branching-ratio decay modes. Viceversa, by combining all the possible production mechanism, searches for ultra-rare decays like those to a photon and a light vector meson can probe the Yukawa couplings to the light quarks and the presence of BSM effects that can enhance these processes..

Tag-and-Probe technique tracking efficiency results at CMS / D'Anzi, Brunella (INFN, Bari ; Bari U.) /CMS Collaboration
The determination of the detector efficiency is a critical ingredient in any physics measurement. It can be in general estimated using simulations, but simulations need to be calibrated with data. [...]

Electronics design and testing of the CMS Fast Beam Condition Monitor for HL-LHC / Shibin, Konstantin (TALLINN-TALTECH) /CMS Collaboration
The high-luminosity upgrade of the LHC (HL-LHC) brings unprecedented requirements for precision bunch-by-bunch luminosity measurement and beam-induced background monitoring in real time. A key component of the CMS Beam Radiation Instrumentation and Luminosity detector system is a stand-alone luminometer, the Fast Beam Condition Monitor (FBCM), which is able to operate independently at all times with a triggerless asynchronous readout. Measurement of the CP properties and anomalous couplings of the Higgs boson with the CMS experiment / De Riggi, Federica (INFN, Rome ; Rome U.) /CMS Collaboration
In many beyond the Standard Model (BSM) theories, anomalous couplings of the Higgs boson with the W and Z vector bosons, or with fermions, are possible and can potentially violate CP symmetry. BSM couplings between the Higgs boson and the top quark, as well as with particles not yet observed, could generate CP violation in the interactions between the Higgs boson and gluons, the dominant process in production at the LHC. Overview of the front-end electronics of CMS HGCal - including readout and powering / Grummer, Aidan (Fermilab) /CMS Collaboration
The end-cap calorimeters of CMS will be upgraded to a single High Granularity Calorimeter (HGCal) for the HL-LHC, including both silicon sensors and scintillator tiles with on-tile SiPMs as active elements. The readout of the active elements is performed by an ASIC (HGCROC in 130~nm CMOS technology) that measures the amplitude and arrival time of the signals. [...]

Higgs self-coupling measurements with the CMS Experiment / Guzel, Ahmet Oguz (Louvain U.) /CMS Collaboration
Since the discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012, the CMS Experiment at the Large Hadron Collider has conducted numerous precision measurements that affirm the predictions of the Standard Model. However, one of the remaining fundamental aspects yet to be directly measured is the self-coupling of the Higgs boson, which is pivotal for understanding the shape of the Higgs potential and the mechanism of electroweak symmetry breaking.
