Superconducting magnets for SIS100 and Super-FRS at FAIR – overview and progress / Roux, Christian ; Bleile, Alexander ; Waldt, Andreas ; Szwangruber, Anna ; Cho, Eun Jung ; Kaether, Florian ; Simon, Haik ; Mueller, Hans ; Meier, Jan ; Ketter, Jochen et al.
At the FAIR project in Darmstadt, Germany, superconducting magnets will be utilized for the main accelerator, the SIS100 heavy ion synchrotron, and for the fragment separator Super-FRS. For SIS100, the magnets are fast ramped with a rate of up to 4 T/s while large apertures are required for Super-FRS. [...]

Dynamics study of the crab crossing at the electron ion collider using square matrix and iterative methods / Anderson, Kelly (Michigan State U., East Lansing (main)) ; Hao, Yue (Michigan State U., East Lansing (main))
Crab crossings are designed to increase the luminosity of accelerators by ensuring beam interactions are closer to a head on collision. One will be implemented at the Electron Ion Collider (EIC) at Brookhaven National Laboratory. [...]

Observation of quantum entanglement in top quark pairs at the ATLAS experiment / Ravina, Baptiste (Gottingen U., II. Phys. Inst.)
The ATLAS Collaboration has recently reported the first observation of quantum entanglement in top quark pair production at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). A brief review of the experimental status of top quark pair spin correlations is given, before highlighting the expected differences between classical and quantum correlations. [...]

Long term aging studies of the new PMTs for the HL-LHC ATLAS hadronic calorimeter upgrade / Chiarelli, G (INFN, Pisa) ; Leone, S (INFN, Pisa) ; Scuri, F (INFN, Pisa)
TileCal, the central hadron calorimeter of the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), is readout by about 10,000 photomultipliers (PMTs). Earlier studies for the performance showed a degradation in PMT response as a function of the integrated anode current. [...]

Hadronic interaction at LHC: review for the LHCf and air shower related measurements / Sako, Takashi (Tokyo U., ICRR)
Fifteen years have past since the first beam collisions at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in CERN.Not only the discovery of the Higgs particle, the LHC made a significant contribution to the cosmic-ray community. Its designed collision energy $\sqrt{s}$=14TeV corresponds to the collision of a 10$^{17}$eV proton on a protonat the rest frame, which is the energy range handled by the air shower observations. The particle productions in the minimum-bias events and very-forward events have been extensively measured by thevarious dedicated detectors at the LHC, and they serve crucial tests for the hadronic interaction models used in the cosmic-ray air shower simulations. In addition, collisions realized at various $\sqrt{s}$ are used to test the energy evolution of the hadronic interaction. In this paper, we will review the key measurements at the LHC relevant to the air shower simulations especially focusingon the forward measurements. We will start the review from a quick outlook of some important concepts used in the high-energy and collider physics..

The ongoing project of ALICE 3 for LHC Run 5 and beyond envisages a Ring-Imaging Cherenkov (RICH) detector for high-energy charged particle identification. This detector employs an aerogel radiator in proximity-focusing configuration and Silicon Photomultiplier (SiPM) arrays, with a high-refractive index window for improving the timing capabilities.
